PAST PRODUCTIONS

Their first production was "Teechers" in 2000, after which they presented their own unique take on the Nativity Story for the festive season.  The following year saw their first original text, "Reflections" and their version of the popular Drama Scheme "Darkwood Manor", both devised by the company and written by leaders Martyn and Helen.  By 2004 they were tackling more ambitious projects such as Terry Pratchett's "Mort" and an original version of "Robin Hood".  The powerful play "Moon's The Madonna" welcomed Jason Browne as guest director, after which Helen and Martyn returned with their own "Who Did It?" and Olwyn Wymark's classic youth piece "Find Me".  In 2008/2009, the company created three shows, the original "Second Chance", an end of season celebration of their 'greatest hits' and their first co-production with the Gainsborough Theatre Company, "Our Day Out".  Their first project for 2009 was another original drama, "After Death Comes..." written by Martyn, while the company closed the year with a special collaboration with PACs youth group, an original Summer Pantomime "Babes In The Wood" which played at both the Old Nick and the X-Church in Gainsborough.  A number of MIYT performers have also been featured in adult company shows, including the season opener, "Wash Day Blues & Elvis".  2010 will be the company's tenth anniversary during which they will be presenting Tery Pratchett's popular "Wyrd Sisters".
